Jakarta’s firefighting brigade clinched top honors at the Singapore-Global Firefighters and Paramedics Challenge (SGFPC) 2023, showcasing their prowess and dedication in a grueling international competition hosted by the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
Representing Indonesia, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Fire and Rescue Department (Gulkarmat) excelled at the SGFPC 2023, held at the Singapore Expo Hall 3, with participants from 14 countries competing in a series of challenging scenarios.
The event saw Jakarta’s Fadila Bunyamin win the Braveheart Team Challenge, with teammates Budi Paryono and Andi Putra Erlambang also delivering commendable performances.
Team Jakarta was also recognized for their strategic and safe execution, earning the ‘Best Resource Application’ and ‘Best Safety Application’ awards.
Beyond individual accolades, the team’s coordinated efforts were acknowledged with the ‘Best Planning Team’ medal, underlining their comprehensive capabilities.
Jakarta’s firefighting sector chief, Suhudi, emphasized the team’s hard work and spirit despite a condensed training schedule.
