The construction of an alternative road to Hang Nadim Airport in Batam has reached a milestone, with over three-quarters of the project completed, signaling enhanced connectivity for the region.
The alternative road project, led by the Batam Industrial Development Authority (BP Batam) and the Directorate of Regional Infrastructure (DIK), aims to improve access to Hang Nadim Airport. This initiative is part of broader efforts to support the upcoming Terminal 2 construction at the airport.
Managed by contractors PT Kisna Jaya and supervision consultants PT Nasuma Putra, the project extends over 1.8 kilometers and features dual lanes in each direction, designed to streamline the flow of traffic to and from the airport.

The construction includes meticulous tasks such as terrain leveling, shoulder improvements, and asphalt paving. This road is pivotal for enhancing the infrastructure around Hang Nadim Airport, particularly with the impending development of Terminal 2.
By facilitating smoother transportation, the project is expected to boost local tourism and economic activities, reducing travel time and improving safety for airport users.
