Acting Mayor of Batam, Andi Agung, participated in a financial literacy seminar titled “Bijak Atur Keuangan, Hindari Jeratan Utang” (Manage Your Finances Wisely, Avoid Debt Traps) held at Golden View Hotel, Bengkong Laut, on Saturday morning (19/10/2024). The event aimed to raise awareness, particularly among women, about the importance of financial management.

The seminar, organized by the Batam chapter of For Women, focused on empowering women to manage their finances more effectively. Andi Agung, Acting Mayor of Batam, commended the initiative for its effort to enhance women’s financial literacy and improve their overall financial well-being.
