In response to the high demand for passport services, the Batam Immigration Office has reintroduced its ‘Sunday Market’ service, allowing residents to apply for passports on Sundays. This move has been warmly received by the community, reinstating a popular service continuously offered by Batam Immigration in previous years.
The Class I Special TPI Batam Immigration Office has resumed its Sunday Service, addressing the community’s pressing need for passport services and facilitating applications outside of regular working hours.
The ‘Sunday Market’ service offers 100 slots divided between the Batam Center Immigration Office and the Harbour Bay Passport Service Unit, operating from 8 AM to 12 PM.

Interested applicants need not use the M-Passport app but can register via WhatsApp by sending a formatted message, making the process more accessible and user-friendly.
The service is limited to new passport applications and replacements, not covering lost passports, data amendments, or expedited processing.
Applicants can apply for either a regular passport at a fee of IDR 350,000 (approximately SGD 29) or an electronic passport for IDR 650,000 (approximately SGD 54), adhering to standard application requirements.
