The Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2024 will take place from June 18-22, 2024, at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
Kadin Indonesia, represented by Vice Chairman of Industry Bobby Gafur Umar, is partnering with the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2024 to attract private sector investment in Indonesia’s water sector. Bobby emphasized that SIWW 2024 presents an opportunity for the Indonesian government to secure a portion of private investments.
Bobby highlighted that the international conference is a significant opportunity for Indonesia to attract investors. “This event is an opportunity for the Indonesian government to take part and invite investors in,” he stated.

Bobby identified two key benefits for Indonesia: attracting investments and gaining new water management technologies. “It’s an opportunity for both investment and technology for water management,” he said.
Bobby noted that private sector investment in Indonesia’s water sector remains minimal. He urged the government to address this gap, as relying solely on state budgets is unsustainable.
“Effective collaboration between the government and private sector is crucial in tackling these challenges,” Bobby emphasized, urging synergy to promote clean water and sanitation.
