The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Indonesia has officially launched Vision Indonesia Digital 2045 (VID 2045), a strategic initiative aimed at harnessing unexplored potentials through focused digital technology use to realize the vision of Golden Indonesia 2024.
Minister Budi Arie Setiadi announced the vision, highlighting it as an alternative route enriching existing efforts and strategies with a focus on productive and directed digital technology utilization.

VID 2045 is designed in alignment with various strategic digital field documents including the 2045 digital industry master plan and the national digital economy strategy.
The vision emphasizes inclusiveness, empowering, and sustainable digital transformation in Indonesia, reflecting a collaborative spirit among stakeholders.
Secretary-General Mira Tayyiba of the Ministry elaborates on VID 2024 as a ‘living document’, constantly updated with national development periodicity and technological advancements.
