Parit, a drainage canal running parallel to the market area, has reportedly been filled with garbage, causing flooding when it rains. “We tried cleaning the drainage ourselves, but the garbage keeps piling up,” Andre lamented, expressing frustration at the lack of government intervention. He emphasized that the unbearable stench from the garbage is making daily life increasingly difficult.

Commuters and business owners have echoed similar grievances, pointing out that the waste accumulation now occupies nearly half of the road.
