Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) FC has entered a landmark partnership with French football giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). In a meeting led by Johor Regent Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and PSG’s Chief of Staff Daniel Markham, both clubs agreed on a multi-faceted collaboration to enhance football development, branding, and technology exchange.
On January 7, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, the Johor Regent and owner of JDT FC, met with a PSG delegation in Johor Bahru. The meeting, led by PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s Chief of Staff Daniel Markham, resulted in a preliminary agreement for a partnership focusing on various aspects of football development, particularly in Southeast Asia.
Both clubs emphasized the importance of grassroots football, committing to enhancing youth programs and developing infrastructure in Johor. The partnership aims to create sustainable pathways for young talent.
