Singapore Airlines and Garuda Indonesia are set to significantly increase the number of daily flights between Jakarta and Singapore, enhancing air connectivity and offering more flexible travel options for passengers starting late 2024.
In a move to bolster connectivity between two key Southeast Asian cities, Singapore Airlines and Garuda Indonesia have announced a significant increase in daily flights from Jakarta to Singapore, reflecting both demand and strategic expansion efforts.
Starting 22 November 2024, Singapore Airlines will increase its daily flights from six to eight. Following suit, Garuda Indonesia will expand its daily operations from four to six flights beginning 1 December 2024.

The increased flights will be integrated into the existing codeshare agreement, enhancing the collaborative network between the two airlines, which already includes routes to other major cities and strategic international destinations.
In response to the commercial joint venture approval in July 2024, both airlines are set to introduce joint fare products in the first quarter of 2025, allowing customers to book flights under a unified itinerary, simplifying travel between Indonesia and Singapore.
The CEOs of both airlines have expressed their commitment to this strategic partnership, highlighting its importance in increasing international travel and business between the two countries, as well as improving service offerings to their customers.
