BP Batam organized a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Balairungsari, Batam Center, to discuss optimizing its Land Management System (LMS) audit and refine investment projections. The event brought together experts, officials, and business stakeholders to align on BP Batam’s strategies to enhance data accuracy and attract increased investment.
BP Batam held an FGD at Balairungsari in Batam Center to address key aspects of its LMS audit and formulate investment projections. The session saw the participation of various representatives from BP Batam, including consultants from the University of Indonesia (UI), Pusilkom UI, and LPM UI, along with local officials and business leaders.
Purwiyanto, the Acting Head of BP Batam, stated that the FGD serves as a strategic initiative to provide insight into BP Batam’s ongoing efforts. This session targeted an improved LMS and investment data system, aiming to achieve the national growth target of 8% annually under President Prabowo Subianto.

The audit of BP Batam’s Land Management System, led by Pusilkom UI as the consulting body, was highlighted as a significant step towards enhancing transparency and efficiency in land allocation to create a more conducive environment for investors.
LPM UI is working alongside BP Batam to establish accurate investment projections, ensuring that data reflects actual investment levels across Batam’s various sectors. This initiative seeks to harmonize data from multiple sources to provide a reliable foundation for economic decision-making.
The event attracted a broad audience, including the FKPD of Kepri Province and Batam City, the Kepri Provincial Council (DPRD), business owners, associations, and local financial institutions, reflecting strong regional support for BP Batam’s development agenda.
