The SOP was signed by Assistant Operations Chief of TNI AU, Air Marshal Minggit Tribowo, and Head of Air Operations RSAF, Brigadier General Teo Soo Yeow, in a ceremony attended by top-ranking officers, including TNI AU Chief of Staff Air Marshal M. Tonny Harjono and RSAF Chief of Air Force Major General Kelvin Van. This SOP serves as a tactical guideline for executing coordinated air patrols, aimed at enhancing air security over the Singapore Strait, a crucial region for both nations.


The Indopura Air Patrol represents a long-standing cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore, addressing joint patrols over the border region between the two countries.
