Gojek and Maxim Launch Operations at Batam’s Hang Nadim International Airport

Batam’s Hang Nadim International Airport now hosts Gojek and Maxim ride-hailing services, expanding transportation options for travelers as of Monday, August 5, 2024.

In a significant move to enhance passenger convenience at Batam’s main airport, Hang Nadim International, Gojek and Maxim officially commenced operations, broadening the transport network within the region.

The inauguration, held at the airport and led by PT BIB Director Pikri Ilham along with key local officials, marks the integration of additional online transportation options to service airport passengers effectively.

Gojek has deployed 50 vehicles and Maxim 35, ensuring ample coverage and availability. These services are located in parking area A, joining the already operational Grab service.

Local police and airport security have coordinated to manage the integration of these services, focusing on maintaining order and ensuring the safety of passengers using these new transport options.

The airport management and local authorities anticipate that the introduction of Gojek and Maxim will not only provide convenience but also foster a competitive pricing environment, benefiting passengers.
