The Batam Management Authority (BP Batam) has reiterated its commitment to completing the Fly Over Sei Ladi project by December 2024, with current progress aligning perfectly with set targets.
The Fly Over Sei Ladi project, spearheaded by BP Batam, is designed to improve traffic flow and enhance urban aesthetics, supporting the city’s economic activities and logistical capabilities.
As of July 10, 2024, the Fly Over Sei Ladi project has reached 45.44% completion, maintaining alignment with the project’s timeline.

The project, valued at IDR 132 billion (SGD 10.96 million), not only aims to alleviate traffic congestion but also to add aesthetic value to the cityscape.
Despite high rainfall since February 2024 posing some challenges, BP Batam is optimistic about overcoming these without significant disruptions to the schedule.
The overpass is seen as crucial for enhancing the connectivity and logistics distribution within Batam, particularly in congested areas like Jalan Gajah Mada.

BP Batam continues to prioritize infrastructure development to support the investment climate, with further enhancements planned post-completion.
