In a significant move to revitalize regional tourism, the Regional Board of the Tourism Business Association (DPD ASPPI) in the Riau Islands has launched the third edition of the Triangle Tourism Travel Mart, from July 13-16, 2024.
The Triangle Tourism Travel Mart III, held biennially, seeks to reinvigorate the tourism sector in the Riau Islands through a series of business-to-business meetings and public exhibitions, amidst participation from regional neighbors.
The event kicked off at Mega Mall Batam Center, witnessing participation from tourism professionals across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, reflecting a robust regional collaboration.

Over four days, participants engage in direct business interactions, public expos, and spectacular networking dinners, illustrating the dynamic nature of the travel and tourism industry.
Highlighting Batam and Bintan’s attractions such as Barelang Bridge and Treasure Bay Lagoi, the fam trips are designed to showcase the best of local tourism to international buyers and media.
Supported by notable entities like Bintan Resorts Cakrawala and the Ministry of Tourism, the event underscores significant governmental and private sector commitment to tourism development.
