In Batam, the Secretary of the City, Jefridin, inaugurated the fourth annual Festival Mancing Ngarong, a cultural event aimed at bolstering local tourism and the economy through the promotion of small businesses and local culture.
The Festival Mancing Ngarong IV, held on July 14, 2024, at Teluk Mata Ikan Beach, is part of Batam’s strategic efforts to enhance local tourism through cultural and economic activities.
The festival was officially opened by Jefridin on behalf of the Mayor of Batam, Muhammad Rudi, highlighting the government’s commitment to fostering local traditions and boosting the regional economy.
