Kabil Training Center Set to Boost Batam’s Industrial Workforce

The newly established Kabil Vocational Training Center (BLK) in Batam’s Integrated Industrial Area is poised to begin operations, offering specialized training in five key areas: housekeeping, barista skills, welding, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and animation. This initiative aims to directly address the local industry’s growing demand for skilled labor.

Located strategically within the Kabil Industrial Area, the BLK Batam spans 4.2 hectares and is designed to provide targeted vocational training that aligns with the specific needs of the surrounding industries. This development is a significant step towards enhancing the skill set of Batam’s workforce and boosting local employment opportunities.

Initially, the BLK Batam will offer training in five areas that are critical to the hospitality and industrial sectors, aiming to quickly upskill workers to meet immediate industry demands.

The local government, along with key industry stakeholders like the Citramas Group, has fully endorsed the establishment of BLK Batam, recognizing its potential to transform the local labor market.
