A disruption in the National Data Center (PDN) under the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has led to significant service interruptions within immigration operations in Batam, affecting both airport and seaport entries.

The technical difficulties at the PDN have compromised the regular operations of immigration services, prompting urgent measures to restore functionality using backup data systems located in Batam.

Director General of Immigration, Silmy Karim, has announced measures to mitigate the impact, prioritizing the recovery of applications and data to maintain scheduled departures and arrivals.
