Muhammad Rudi Calls for Community Synergy in Batam Development

Muhammad Rudi, Head of BP Batam and Mayor, has officially sworn in the new committee of the Kekerabatan Keluarga Masyarakat Lingga (KKML) for Batam for the 2024-2029 term, calling on the community to actively support and participate in the ongoing development and modernization of the region.

During the committee inauguration held at Golden Prawn on May 19, 2024, Muhammad Rudi emphasized the crucial role of community collaboration with governmental initiatives to transform Batam into a modern and civilized city.

Rudi’s address highlighted the need for the Lingga community in Batam to work closely with the government, reinforcing that collective efforts are vital for realizing strategic development programs.

Acknowledging the residential status of many Kepri athletes in Jakarta due to educational commitments, Rudi called for increased support for these athletes, facilitating their training and participation in significant competitions.

Rudi set forth an ambitious economic growth target for Batam in 2024, aiming to surpass the 7.04% growth achieved in 2023, driven by strategic investments and robust development policies.
