Thailand is set to expand its business frontiers in Indonesia, announcing the “Thailand Industrial Business Matching” event organized by the Thai Trade Center (TTC) under the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP). Scheduled for May 2nd at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta, this initiative aims to foster business collaborations and explore new opportunities in the Indonesian market, particularly in the electronics and household appliances sectors.
This event marks a significant effort by Thailand to deepen its commercial relationships with Indonesia, showcasing an ambitious agenda to explore business potentials and strategic partnerships. With the participation of approximately 19 Thai businesses from diverse sectors, the event is poised to facilitate meaningful dialogue and potential collaborations between Thai and Indonesian enterprises.
The event will spotlight key industries such as electronics, automotive, AC, and refrigeration machines, highlighting Thailand’s expertise and the synergistic opportunities available in the Indonesian market.

Supported by prominent Indonesian industry associations and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Indonesia, the event is designed to strengthen strategic alliances and promote in-depth cooperation on market dynamics.
Thailand’s growing construction sector, with a projected market volume reaching USD 34.05 billion by 2029, and its established automotive industry underscore the country’s manufacturing prowess and potential as a partner for Indonesian businesses.
Thailand’s air conditioning market, valued at USD 1,645.21 million in 2023, represents a burgeoning sector with innovations in cooling technology, offering ample opportunities for business expansion and technological collaboration.
