Indonesia has officially passed the baton to Norway as the next official partner country for Hannover Messe 2024, with a handover ceremony taking place on Wednesday, March 6th. Representing Indonesia, Ignatius Warsito, the Ministry of Industry’s Expert Staff for Strengthening Domestic Industrial Capabilities, alongside Kristian Netland, the Deputy Ambassador of Norway to Indonesia, marked the occasion. This transition emphasizes Indonesia’s ongoing commitment to being a frontrunner in the global industrial arena, set to reappear at the world’s largest industrial exhibition in Hannover, Germany, from April 22 to 26, 2024.
Following its role as the official partner country in 2023, Indonesia aims to further its contributions to the industrial sector by participating in Hannover Messe 2024. The event serves as a pivotal platform for Indonesia to promote exports, investments, and industrial cooperation, aligning with the Making Indonesia 4.0 policy and supporting the global transition towards sustainable industry practices.
The official handover from Indonesia to Norway represents the fluidity and collaboration between nations, celebrating the shared goals of innovation and sustainability in the industrial sector.

Under the theme “Energizing Sustainable Industry,” Hannover Messe 2024 will spotlight crucial categories such as Future Hub, Engineered Parts & Solutions, Automation, Motion & Drives, Digital Ecosystems, and Energy Solutions, with Indonesia playing a significant role.
Indonesia will continue to utilize the “Infinite Journey” tagline and the iconic Phinisi ship logo to reinforce its national identity and the limitless potential in the industrial sector.
Indonesia’s pavilion will be strategically placed in Hall 4 (Booth G52), covering 100 m2, and will offer seminars and business forums to facilitate networking and business opportunities for Indonesian companies and potential international partners.
