Hang Nadim Airport in Batam is set to widen its international reach in 2024 with five new flight routes, building on its initial success with flights to Kunming, China.
Hang Nadim Airport, operated by PT Bandara Internasional Batam (BIB), announces the addition of five international flight routes, enhancing Batam’s position as a significant travel hub in Southeast Asia.
After launching the first route to Kunming, China, the airport is set to open routes to Malaysia and South Korea, followed by Thailand and Vietnam.

The Kuala Lumpur route, commencing in February with Batik Air, and the South Korea route, starting in June with Jeju Air, are part of this expansion.
These new routes are expected to create business and investment opportunities in various sectors including tourism, trade, and industry in Batam.
This strategic development is anticipated to benefit Batam’s international orientation and global partnership networks.
