Batam’s Special Economic Zones (SEZs), Nongsa Digital Park and Batam Aero Technic, are pivotal in Indonesia’s strategy to elevate regional economic growth and competitiveness. These zones, supported by BP Batam’s infrastructure enhancements, are set to accelerate national economic recovery and the advancement of Batam’s Free Trade and Free Port Area.
The Indonesian government, through Presidential Regulations No. 67 and 68 of 2021, established two SEZs in Batam, focusing on digital and technical innovation. These zones are integral to Indonesia’s economic diversification and global competitiveness.
BP Batam’s infrastructural support, particularly in road widening and digital infrastructure, has been instrumental in the success of Nongsa Digital Park, attracting international investors and creating thousands of jobs.

The strategic development of essential infrastructure such as roads, Hang Nadim International Airport, and Batu Ampar Port is prioritized to facilitate investor activities and enhance the overall business environment in Batam.
