Sirajudin Nur, a prospective member of the DPD RI from Kepri Province for 2024, has proposed a robust plan aimed at fostering a new generation of competent young entrepreneurs, as part of a strategy to boost local economic development and job creation.
Sirajudin Nur’s plan focuses on building a strong ecosystem for business and tapping into local potential, primarily targeting the youth of Kepri, which constitutes a significant portion of the province’s productive population.
The program aims to offer nationally certified skill development programs, enhancing the competitiveness of the young generation in the current job market.

Sirajudin emphasizes the importance of digitalization in the UMKM (Small and Medium Enterprises) sector to increase productivity and economic growth in Kepri.
The initiative aligns with the current government focus on strengthening the UMKM ecosystem through digital approaches, aiming to reduce unemployment and expand job opportunities.
If elected to the DPD RI, Sirajudin plans to build strategic political relationships with the government to channel more development funds to Kepri, especially for human resource development and education.

Sirajudin’s approach includes two main strategies: strengthening the UMKM ecosystem and enhancing the e-commerce ecosystem, to integrate UMKM into the digital economy.
Sirajudin’s initiative for Kepri could have implications for neighboring regions like Singapore, potentially offering new opportunities for cross-border collaborations, especially in the digital and entrepreneurial sectors, thereby fostering regional economic growth.
Sirajudin Nur’s ambitious plan to create 1,200 young entrepreneurs in Kepri aims to harness the youth’s potential for economic development. His focus on skill development, UMKM digitalization, and strategic governmental collaboration could significantly reduce unemployment and enhance the region’s economic growth, offering potential collaborative opportunities for neighboring countries like Singapore.
