According to South Klang Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Cha Hoong Fong, one of the victims attempted to flee the attack but collapsed 50 meters away due to the severity of his injuries. The second victim was transported to a specialist hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

“The suspect is believed to have slashed both victims during the fight. Both victims were locals with prior criminal records,” ACP Cha stated.

Manhunt Launched to Track Down the Suspects

The violent nature of the attack has prompted authorities to launch a manhunt for the assailants responsible. Investigators are currently reviewing security footage and questioning witnesses at the scene to identify the attackers.

Authorities have classified the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries the death penalty or life imprisonment upon conviction.

ACP Cha urged anyone with information about the attack to come forward.

“We are actively identifying the suspects involved in this brutal case. Anyone with relevant details should contact the South Klang police at 03-33762222 or visit the nearest police station,” he said.

The brutal slashing incident has shaken the local community, with residents raising concerns over the rise of violent crimes in the area.
