The Japanese stage adaptation will bring Titans, music, and action to Singapore.
Attack on Titan is preparing to cross another boundary, this time bringing its theatrical adaptation to Southeast Asia. Singapore will become the production’s first stop in the region and its first Asian engagement outside Japan when the musical arrives in April 2027.
Singapore Becomes First Southeast Asian Stop
Attack on Titan: The Musical will run at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, from April 15 to May 2, 2027. The engagement marks the production’s Southeast Asian debut and its first Asian performance outside Japan. Before arriving in Singapore, the show had staged performances in Osaka, Tokyo, and New York City between 2023 and 2025.
Manga Battles Transform Into Live Theater
Presented by Base Entertainment Asia, the musical adapts the early chapters of Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan manga, with Geek Culture reporting that the Singapore production will cover the story through the Battle of Trost. Described as a “2.5-dimensional” theatrical experience, the production combines live performance with music, action choreography, and modern stage technology to translate the manga and anime world into a physical stage production.
Japanese Production Includes Familiar Characters
The performance will be presented in Japanese with English surtitles. Go Ueki directs the production, with Masafumi Hata handling the script, Ken The 390 serving as music supervisor, and Kaori Miura writing the lyrics. Familiar characters including Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Levi, Erwin Smith, and Hange Zoe will appear, although some story elements have been rearranged or removed for the stage adaptation.
Original Songs Meet Iconic Anime Theme
Audiences can expect original songs created for the musical alongside an incorporation of “Guren no Yumiya,” the opening theme from the anime’s first season. Each show runs for approximately 120 minutes, with evening performances from Tuesdays to Fridays, two performances on Saturdays, and afternoon and evening shows on Sundays.
Tickets Start From S$58
General ticket sales begin on October 14, 2026, with individual ticket categories ranging from S$58 to S$188, while selected four-seat box packages cost more. Tickets will be sold through Marina Bay Sands Ticketing, Sistic, and Klook, with AsiaOne reporting early-bird discounts ranging from 15 percent to 20 percent.
Singapore’s selection as the first Southeast Asian destination for Attack on Titan: The Musical places the city at the center of the production’s next international expansion. For Singaporean audiences, it brings the Japanese stage adaptation directly to Marina Bay Sands, while Indonesian fans will have their first opportunity to see the production staged within Southeast Asia when the limited run begins in April 2027.
