FedEx Singapore teams unite with Rise Against Hunger to support families facing food insecurity.

FedEx employees in Singapore rallied behind a regional humanitarian mission, packing thousands of meals to support children and families in Cambodia who continue to face persistent food insecurity.

FedEx and RAH Join Forces
Federal Express Corporation, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, partnered with international nonprofit Rise Against Hunger to prepare 30,000 nutritious meals for vulnerable families in Cambodia. The initiative marked FedEx Singapore’s first collaboration with Rise Against Hunger, strengthening the company’s ongoing regional humanitarian efforts.

A Hands-On Effort by Singapore Volunteers
The event took place at the FedEx Singapore Techlink office, where 147 employees volunteered across three shifts. Together, they contributed 162 hours to measure, pack, and seal meals that will soon be distributed to Cambodian communities experiencing chronic food insecurity.

Addressing Cambodia’s Malnutrition Crisis

According to the World Food Programme, 22 percent of Cambodian children under five suffer from stunting caused by malnutrition, while 16 percent of households are unable to afford a nutritious diet. Rise Against Hunger, which operates in more than 30 countries, works to combat these challenges through community empowerment, nutrition programs, and rapid emergency response.

FedEx Cares: A Growing Movement
This meal-packing effort is part of a broader series of FedEx Cares initiatives in Singapore. Previous activities include supporting Club Rainbow through a Zoo excursion and a sustainability-themed carnival, as well as partnering with Zero Waste SG on its “Sort It Out” recycling awareness campaign in Queenstown.

Recognizing Corporate Leadership
Earlier this year, FedEx earned the CARES Distinction Award from AmCham Singapore for the fifth consecutive year. The recognition highlights the company’s consistent positive impact through volunteerism, in-kind shipping, and charitable contributions that uplift communities across Asia Pacific.

Sustained Support Across the Region
FedEx continues to leverage its network, people, and logistics expertise to support vulnerable groups beyond Singapore. This collaboration with Rise Against Hunger reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to addressing food insecurity and improving the well-being of families across Southeast Asia.

FedEx Singapore’s partnership with Rise Against Hunger demonstrates how corporate volunteerism can create tangible improvements for communities across the region. By combining resources, expertise, and a strong spirit of service, companies and nonprofits can drive meaningful progress for both Indonesians and Cambodians while inspiring broader corporate responsibility in Singapore.
