China’s Lonvi Biosciences, a biotechnology company based in Shenzhen, announced early findings on a capsule developed using Procyanidin C1 (PCC1), a natural compound extracted from grape seeds. The company claims the formulation could dramatically influence ageing processes—potentially extending human lifespan toward 150 years under optimal conditions.
Understanding PCC1 and “Zombie Cells”
The PCC1 compound specifically targets senescent or “zombie” cells—ageing cells that stop dividing but continue to accumulate within tissues. These cells trigger inflammation and accelerate organ decline. By clearing or suppressing them, researchers believe the body can better maintain cellular resilience and energy production.

Strong Laboratory Findings on Mice
Lonvi Biosciences conducted laboratory studies on mice, producing results that have amplified global interest. According to the company’s report published Wednesday, 19 November, treated animals showed:
- A 9.4% increase in total lifespan
- More than a 64% rise in estimated remaining life expectancy at the start of the treatment regimen
