The theme for Earth Day 2025, Our Power, Our Planet, calls for everyone to unite around renewable energy solutions. More than 202 volunteers participated, including students, university students, environmental communities, corporate employees, and government representatives.

“This event is not only about cleaning up waste but also about building collective awareness to protect the earth, starting from our immediate environment,” said Villiana Putri Utami, Director of PT BatamOn Global Group. She added that Kampung Mentigi was chosen because it is one of the areas most affected by waste pollution in Batam.

During the activity, volunteers successfully collected a total of 573 kilograms of waste, consisting mostly of single-use plastics, bottles, and household waste.
