PLN Batam’s CEO, M. Irwansyah Putra, highlighted the role of reliable electricity in attracting data center investments, emphasizing the growing demand for digital infrastructure in Batam.

“Power, land, and water are essential for data centers. This project positions Batam as a competitive location for global investors,” Irwansyah said.

The additional power capacity is expected to make Batam a preferred destination for businesses relocating their data centers. The city’s reputation for reliability and strategic location further enhances its attractiveness.
