As of Q3 2024, SEZ investments have created 34,199 jobs, with cumulative totals reaching IDR 242.5 trillion and generating employment for 151,260 workers. These zones currently host 394 active companies, reflecting their growing appeal to investors.
Strategic Projects for 2024-2025
Prabowo also instructed ministers to accelerate national strategic projects, targeting the completion of 18 projects by the end of 2024 and an additional 30 by 2025. These initiatives are expected to further enhance Indonesia’s economic infrastructure.
