All ministry employees are mandated to adhere to an Integrity Pact signed in July 2024, which prohibits any involvement in online gambling, thereby ensuring that official conduct remains unblemished by corrupt activities.

The directive includes measures against communicating, influencing, or distributing any online gambling content. Employees found in violation face strict penalties under Indonesian law.

Prior police operations have led to the arrest of 11 individuals, some of whom are ministry staff, underscoring the serious repercussions of involvement in online gambling activities.
