Indonesia-Singapore Business Forum 2024 Enhances Bilateral Relations

At the 39th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) City, Tangerang, Banten, Vice Minister of Trade Jerry Sambuaga spoke about the significant role of the Indonesia-Singapore Business Forum 2024 in strengthening bilateral relationships and expanding economic collaboration between the two nations.


The forum serves as a critical platform not only to celebrate existing partnerships but also to initiate new opportunities that could further enhance the economic links between Indonesia and Singapore.


Vice Minister Jerry Sambuaga emphasized the ideal timing for Singaporean companies to establish strong partnerships with Indonesian businesses. The Trade Expo Indonesia provides a platform for exploring high-quality products and forging long-term business relationships, offering access to a rapidly growing market with substantial potential.

Highlighting the unique advantages of both countries, Jerry noted Indonesia’s vast market, abundant natural resources, and a young talented workforce, against Singapore’s advanced technology and capital. The forum was attended by notable figures such as the CEO of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, Dennis Mark; the Special Staff to the Minister of Trade for International Trade Negotiations, Bara Krishna Hasibuan; and the Trade Attaché of Indonesia to Singapore, Billy Anugerah, showing the high level of commitment and interest from both sides.


Jerry urged Singaporean business entities to fully leverage this opportunity to strengthen trade relations and create mutually beneficial partnerships that promise prosperity for both countries.
