Batam’s City Secretary warned against any form of malpractice in the selection process. He highlighted that any cheating or bribery attempts would lead to immediate disqualification, reinforcing the administration’s zero-tolerance policy on corruption.

Emphasizing inclusivity, Jefridin noted that temporary workers who meet the prerequisites are encouraged to apply. There will be no special treatment as the criteria and testing conditions are the same for all candidates, whether honorary or P3K.

P3K workers with at least one year of service under an official decree are also eligible to participate, provided they meet all other conditions. This inclusivity ensures that the process respects the contributions of all workers, regardless of their contractual status.

The examinations will be conducted locally, which should facilitate participation and ensure that all applicants have convenient access to the testing venues.

The Batam City Secretary, Jefridin, announced that the 2024 CPNS recruitment process will treat all candidates equally, without special paths for temporary workers, reinforcing the city’s commitment to fairness and transparency in public sector employment opportunities.
