Since the implementation of the Supplier Head Stock (SHS) program in 2002, the terminal has seen a consistent increase in cargo volume, signaling its growing importance in regional logistics.

The terminal features extensive safety measures including a buffer zone and a lightning protection system, underlining its commitment to global HSSE standards.
Plans are underway to establish the terminal as a trading hub by 2025-2028, with advanced blending facilities for gasoline products, boosting its non-captive market development.
The terminal’s proximity to the Strait of Malacca, combined with recent enhancements, positions it to handle an increased throughput of oil and LPG, enhancing its role in international trade.
