The revised budget of SGD 318 million represents an 8.36% increase from the previous estimate, reflecting Batam’s proactive stance towards enhancing its municipal services and infrastructure.
The revised budget sees an increase in regional revenue from SGD 286 million to SGD 309 million, with additional financing revenue rising from SGD 7.9 million to SGD 9.63 million, highlighting a robust fiscal strategy to support diverse urban needs.

The increase in budget allocation will fund critical sectors including public safety, health services, and community development, ensuring comprehensive growth and enhanced quality of life for the residents.
