Scheduled for regulatory completion in August, the fund starts with a substantial allocation of approximately SGD 166 million, aimed at enhancing the quality and sustainability of tourist visits.

The funds will be directed towards high-quality international events that can stimulate tourist movement, enhance economic impact, and improve Indonesia’s national branding on the global stage.

Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo has been appointed to the fund’s board of supervisors, emphasizing the government’s commitment to integrating cultural and sports events into the tourism enhancement strategy.
