BP Batam Showcases Licensing Ease to Jakarta Entrepreneurs

In an effort to attract more investment and streamline business operations, BP Batam recently hosted a business gathering in Jakarta titled ‘BP Batam Menyapa Pelaku Usaha’, demonstrating the ease of obtaining business licenses and services in Batam.

The event was part of BP Batam’s initiative to improve understanding and access to business-related services and licensing in Batam, particularly aimed at Jakarta entrepreneurs with business interests in the region.

The ‘BP Batam Menyapa Pelaku Usaha’ gathering aimed to inform and engage over 50 Jakarta-based business owners about the streamlined processes and opportunities in Batam.

Prominent speakers included Imanul Hakim, Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes in Riau Islands; Solafudin of the Directorate of Customs Facilities in Batam; Harlas Buana, Director of Integrated One-Stop Services (PTSP) at BP Batam; and Surya Kurniawan Suhairi, Director of Goods and Investment Traffic Services.

Purnomo Andiantono, the Head of BP Batam’s Jakarta Representative Office, emphasized the event’s role in bridging Batam’s offerings with Jakarta investors, enhancing ease of business operations in Batam.
