The upcoming Pre IOG SCM SUMMIT 2024, scheduled for July 3-4 in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, is set to address crucial topics including the synergy and optimization of drilling rigs (RIG) to advance new exploration and exploitation efforts in the oil and gas sector.
This pivotal summit brings together industry leaders and government officials to discuss strategies for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of drilling operations, a key component in achieving Indonesia’s energy goals.
Discussions will center on the integration and enhancement of drilling rigs to boost exploration and exploitation efficiency, a critical factor for the oil and gas industry’s future.

The event anticipates a diverse attendance, including the head of SKK Migas, the Governor of Riau, and leaders from various oil production sharing contracts (KKKS).
Four focused group discussions (FGDs) will tackle topics such as rig synergy and optimization, workforce readiness in oil projects, oil and gas financing, and the use of domestic shipyards.
Governor of Kepulauan Riau, Ansar Ahmad, has expressed strong support for the summit, highlighting its potential to bolster the regional oil and gas support industry and open new business opportunities.
