BRI Champions Indonesian SMEs at FHA Food & Beverage 2024 in Singapore

PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has successfully launched eight Indonesian SMEs into the global market at the Food & Hotel Asia (FHA) Food & Beverage 2024. This prestigious international food and beverage trade exhibition, held at the Singapore Expo from April 23 to 26, 2024, saw participation from over 50 countries.

The SMEs, including producers of chocolate, cassava chips, and health snacks, utilized this opportunity to display the quality and diversity of Indonesian food products to an international audience.

BRI’s involvement underlines its commitment to supporting the expansion of SMEs beyond domestic markets. The bank has been instrumental in providing these businesses with the training and resources needed to compete internationally.

At the FHA Food 2024, the Indonesian SMEs engaged with 87 potential buyers from countries like China, Thailand, and Malaysia, negotiating potential deals worth USD 175,000.

The expo not only promoted Indonesian products but also facilitated cultural and economic exchanges, enhancing bilateral relations between the participating countries.

BRI’s continuous support for SMEs includes various empowerment programs like Rumah BUMN, Pengusaha Muda Brilian, and Brilianpreneur, which equip entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge needed for international success.
