Indonesia’s participation in the 2024 Food and Hotel Association (FHA) exhibition in Singapore Expo has been marked by a flurry of potential deals amounting to approximately SGD 5.7 million (equivalent to approximately 68 billion IDR), underlining the country’s rich culinary offerings and its appeal to global markets.
The Indonesian Pavilion at the FHA 2024, organized in collaboration with the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, highlighted a diverse range of organic snacks, spices, and other food products, attracting significant attention and business potential from over 9,100 visitors, making it a highlight of the international culinary scene.
The Indonesian Pavilion not only drew substantial visitor interest but also secured four purchasing contracts worth SGD 485,000, spotlighting dried fruits and organic spices among other products.

This year’s pavilion featured the highest number of participants from Indonesia to date, with 36 SMEs showcased, all cultivated under the guidance of the Ministry of Trade, Bank Indonesia, and other national institutions, demonstrating Indonesia’s robust support system for small and medium enterprises.
The success of the Indonesian Pavilion was made possible through strategic partnerships with several major organizations, including Bank Indonesia and Astra International, enhancing the support framework for Indonesian exporters.
The FHA in Singapore serves as one of the world’s largest international food exhibitions, with Indonesia consistently participating and leveraging the event to propel its food products into regional and global markets.
The collaborative efforts to promote Indonesian exports are exemplified by the synchronized participation of government entities, financial institutions, and private sector partners, which aim to amplify Indonesia’s presence on the global stage.
The vibrant display and promising business deals at the Indonesian Pavilion not only showcase the rich culinary heritage of Indonesia but also demonstrate the country’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the global food industry. This strategic approach supports Indonesia’s ongoing efforts to enhance its export performance and economic footprint worldwide.
