With 27 Japanese companies already operating in Batam, the ambassador’s remarks underscore the city’s strategic importance to Japanese investors.
Batam’s allure as a major investment hub for Japanese investors was the focal point of discussions during Ambassador Masaki Yasushi’s visit. The Indonesian city’s welcoming stance towards foreign investment, coupled with its commitment to improving infrastructure and business security, positions Batam as an attractive destination for expanding Japanese businesses.
