BP Batam’s commitment to the Rempang Eco-City development is manifesting through the near 70% completion of four model homes for affected residents. Spearheaded by Sudirman Saad, Member of the Area Management and Investment Division and Head of the Community Social Impact Handling Team, this project is set to conclude the construction of 961 additional units by the end of 2024.
The Rempang Eco-City initiative, a Strategic National Program (PSN), focuses on sustainable urban development, incorporating community resettlement plans and infrastructural advancements. With a transparent and humanistic approach to handling the social impacts, BP Batam ensures the community’s rights and interests are preserved, promoting a collaborative environment for the project’s success.
