For the first time, Indonesia has been selected to participate in the prestigious annual international event, the Global Cybersecurity Camp (GCC) 2024, held in Thailand, showcasing the country’s growing expertise in the field of cybersecurity.
The Global Cybersecurity Camp 2024 in Thailand marks a significant milestone for Indonesia as it sends its first delegates to this international forum, emphasizing the nation’s commitment to advancing its cybersecurity capabilities.
Three certified Indonesian delegates, Kevin Yehezkiel Gurning, Ryan Fadhillah, and Prasnavira Satria, represented the country at the GCC, engaging in a series of activities from February 19-24, 2024, in Bangkok.

These delegates, alumni of the InfraDigital Foundation training programs with certifications in cybersecurity, exchanged ideas and gained new perspectives from global experts and peers.
Prasnavira Satria, a penetration tester and a notable participant, highlighted the enriching experience of learning from experienced trainers and the opportunity to implement new knowledge upon returning to Jakarta.
The participation underscores Indonesia’s investment in cybersecurity talent development, demonstrated through various training programs like the Mastercard Academy’s cybersecurity training, conducted by Grab and Mastercard, and Microsoft Philanthropy’s Ready4Security-Indonesia program aimed at enhancing skills and competitiveness in the cybersecurity domain.
