The proposed change in spatial planning for the industrial area in Tembeling Village is spearheaded by PT Indo Sukses Industrial Park (PT ISIP), a company focusing on comprehensive and integrated industrial development.
PT ISIP, established in early 2023, plans to invest up to Rp 10 trillion (approximately SGD 1 billion), indicating significant economic growth potential for Batam.
The new industrial area spans 412 hectares, expected to create employment opportunities for over 10,000 workers, enhancing Batam’s job market and economic stature.
