The event saw the participation of 60 competitors from countries including Australia, France, and other European nations, as well as neighboring Singapore and Malaysia, underscoring the event’s international appeal.
Supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) RI, the Batam City Government, and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin) in Batam, the event represents a collaborative effort to boost Batam’s sports tourism sector.
Leny Suparman, CEO of KOP Limited and Founder of Montigo Resorts, expressed pride in successfully organizing the event early in the year, aiming to promote a healthy lifestyle and capitalize on the resort’s suitability for such events.
Jadi Rajagukguk, Chairman of Kadin Batam, anticipates an increase in participants in future events and appreciates Montigo Resorts’ efforts in successfully hosting this inaugural event, attracting global participants.
