In a significant addition to its tourism offerings, Batam has launched a unique Pinisi boat, transforming the traditional sailing vessel into a novel accommodation and attraction option.
The Batam Pinisi boat, stationed near Barelang Bridge, offers a distinct cruise experience with its iconic sails, reminiscent of the Bugis sailors’ vessels from South Sulawesi.
Guests aboard the KLM Dragon Net 01 Pinisi are treated to a welcoming ambiance with top-notch services, capturing the essence of luxury sailing.
The boat features multiple decks with panoramic views, comfortable seating, seven guest rooms including suites and deluxe options, and additional amenities like a karaoke room.
Visitors can choose from various packages, such as the Shared Jumbo Cabin at approximately $95, Standard Cabin at around $149, and Deluxe with Sea View at about $199.
