At the Indonesia 2024 Investment Trends and Green Economic Opportunities Forum in Singapore, Indonesian Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia reassures investors that the upcoming political year will not disrupt the investment climate.
Facing a political year in 2024, Indonesia, through its Investment Ministry and the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), has reassured investors in Singapore about the stable investment environment. The forum, attended by over 200 participants, addressed trends in investment and green economic opportunities.
Bahlil Lahadalia emphasized Indonesia’s continuous growth in investment climate and its openness to collaboration with Singaporean investors, stressing that the political scenario will not hinder investment opportunities.

Singapore has been the largest source of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into Indonesia for the last three years, with significant investments in sectors like basic metal industry, transportation, warehousing, telecommunications, and real estate.
Indonesia offers abundant natural resources and potential, with the government ambitiously positioning itself as a global leader in the green economy.
