The sting operation in Cimanggis, Depok, led to the seizure of a substantial amount of ‘happy water’ and banana chip packages containing narcotics.

Three individuals were arrested in Depok responsible for managing social media accounts, financial transactions, and sales of the illegal substances.

Subsequent raids across Magelang and Bantul resulted in several more arrests, with individuals charged for manufacturing and distributing the drugs.

The crackdown is part of a larger, more aggressive approach against narcotics endorsed by President Joko Widodo and implemented across police jurisdictions.
