Discover the untouched beauty of Pulau Senua, an exclusive tourism destination in Natuna, offering pristine beaches, clear waters, and a unique geological heritage. Ideal for both domestic and international tourists seeking an exotic island experience.
Located in Desa Sepempang, Kecamatan Bunguran Timur, Pulau Senoa/Senua spans approximately 2.4 hectares. Recognized as a premier destination in Natuna, this island has been drawing visitors since 2010 when the Government of Kepulauan Riau (Kepri) declared it a top tourism site.

Journeying to Pulau Senua takes about 30 to 45 minutes from the Teluk Baruk harbor in Desa Sepempang, via a traditional fishermen’s boat known as ‘pompong.’ The round-trip cost of hiring a pompong ranges from IDR 300,000 to IDR 400,000.
Pulau Senua’s unique shape, resembling a pregnant woman lying down, adds to its charm. This shape is central to local legends and storytelling in Natuna, reflecting the island’s rich cultural heritage.

As a part of the National Natuna Geopark, Pulau Senua stands out with its geological significance, featuring deep-sea sedimentary rocks dating back to 163-88.5 million years ago. The island’s natural beauty and geological diversity make it an ideal spot for geo-tourism and earth science research.
Activities on the island include snorkeling and diving to explore its stunning coral reefs and marine life. Visitors should bring their own food, drinks, and snorkeling or diving gear, as facilities are limited and fresh water is scarce.
The island’s management and promotion are actively handled by the Natuna Tourism Office, which regularly updates information across various social media platforms.

Pulau Senua offers a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural lore, and geological wonder, making it a compelling destination for Singaporeans and international visitors alike. Its exclusivity, serene beaches, and clear waters provide an ideal escape from bustling city life, inviting tourists to a world where nature’s tranquility reigns supreme.
Pulau Senua, an exclusive island in Natuna, is a hidden gem for tourists seeking extraordinary beach experiences. From its folklore-inspired shape to its remarkable underwater world, this island promises an unforgettable journey into nature’s pristine beauty.
