Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) partners with PT Leadership Indonesia – Marine Pollution Management Consultant, to provide IMO Course OOPRC training for their employees, catering to two distinct levels.
This initiative, held in two groups, targets Pertamina Group’s employees, with General Manager PTK MBOR 1, Joko Pramono, emphasizing its importance through Manager Marine Operation PTK Sumbagut, Capt Fadhly HR.
Level II training, focused on field leadership or on-scene commanders, was conducted from 9-10 October with 20 participants representing Pertamina’s Marine Operation Sumbagut region.
A subsequent Level III training is designed for higher-ranking employees within the Pertamina Group.

This Level III training involved an International Maritime Organization (IMO) Course for top management participants, including representatives from Pertamina Arun Gas, Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kilang Pertamina Internasional, and Pertamina Trans Kontinental.
Adhering to maritime pollution regulations, specifically Minister of Transportation Regulation PM.58 of 2013, the training underscores the importance of combating oil pollution at sea.
The course’s main objectives are regulatory compliance, increasing employee responsibility, and expanding their knowledge base. Expert speakers from the Tim Leadership and the Directorate General of Sea Transportation Ministry of Transportation were involved in the training.
For Singaporeans and international communities, this signifies a proactive approach from major corporations in the region, like Pertamina, to protect maritime environments. Such initiatives pave the way for safer sea operations, potentially reducing oil spill incidents, and ensuring cleaner waters for both local and international navigation.
Pertamina Trans Kontinental joins forces with PT Leadership Indonesia to roll out IMO Course OOPRC training sessions, ensuring maritime safety and adherence to pollution regulations, representing a significant stride for maritime safety in the region.
